There is a thin plastic protection on the product, you can remove it if you see some scratches.

If you're hesitating about size, generally 2.5" or 3" is recommended

Be aware: because of the acrylic border, in some cases the image may be a bit smaller in those sizes 1" and 1.5" (the border is most visible on this size).
